Our Bangalore studio is a small room with north light, a wooden takht, and roughly sixty handwoven silk sarees on quiet rotation. We pour filter coffee. We do not push. We tell you who wove the saree and how long it took. Many people leave without buying. Many come back.
Street parking is available in front of the boutique. We are a five-minute walk from Jayanagar 4th Block, five minutes from Jayanagar metro station.
Ten minutes. We show you the four weaves, explain what makes each what it is, and ask what you are here for.
Forty minutes. We unfold five or six sarees on the takht. You feel them. You try one. We talk about how each will age.
